From the hotel you have the ideal starting point to follow the traces of the bygone Habsburg dynasty. The ticket "Treasures of the Habsburg family" will take you past some of the most famous sights and historical buildings of the former imperial city to three of its most important museums.

There, many inestimable witnesses of over a millennium of European history await you: the most important collection of medieval royal objects like the insignia and jewels of the Holy Roman Empire, including the Imperial Crown and the Holy Lance. Further highlights include the Crown of Emperor Rudolf II., as well as the vestments and other precious items of the Order of the Golden Fleece. Exceedingly valuable gems, including one of the world's largest emeralds, bear witness to the Habsburgs' former degree of power. In earlier centuries, two items were considered to be so unique that they were declared "inalienable heirlooms of the House of Austria": a giant narwhal tooth which was thought to be the horn of a unicorn and an agate bowl from Late Antiquity which was thought to be the legendary Holy Grail.

Afterwards, these impressions can be talked about during a 3-course dinner at one of the best restaurants in town. The gourmet restaurant Le Ciel on the 7th floor of the Grand Hotel Wien does not only offer culinary sensations, but also a special view over the city.

Finally, to make the package complete, a CD 'Music at the Habsburg Court' by the famous conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt and a delicious Grand Guglhupf will welcome you at your room. Guglhupf, by the way, was one of the favourite pastries of Emperor Franz Joseph I.

Golf rounds are per person and per day. Rounds are not transferable or refundable and are subject to course availability.
Handicap certificate (Men/28 - Ladies/36) is required to play. Soft spikes are mandatory.

BEACH CLUB FACILITIES
Beach Club facilities are available from 01 June to 30 September; located 200m from the Hotel, at Vale do Lobo Beach. Beach Club facilities guarantee free use of sun beds, towels and sun-shades, at the exclusive beach area reserved only Hotel guests.

GENERAL POLICY
Rooms are held until 4 (four) hours after the hotel check-in time (14:00 p.m.) of the day of arrival. A limited number of rooms may be available at these rates and additional restrictions and blackout dates may apply, this program can not be combined with any additional discount or promotion. No credits will be granted irrespective of whether or not the full package/stay is consumed. Offer not applicable to groups (more than 10 rooms). Not responsible for omissions or typographical errors. Void where prohibited by law.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Credit card information is required at time of booking online as form of guarantee.
No charges to the credit card provided will be made for cancellations made 48 hours prior to date of arrival.
Cancellations made 48 hours or less prior to arrival, the hotel reserves the right to charge the correspondent to 1 (one) night of the booking or package reserved to the credit card supplied.
Guests that are no shows, the total stay or package will be charged to the credit card supplied.

CHILD POLICY
Child policy is only valid for children from 0 to 12 years of age.
100% Discount on room rate for children is only valid when sharing room with parents.
Maximum number of children/infants sharing room with parents permitted: only 1 child can be accommodated in Single and/or Twin rooms; 2 children may be accommodated in Suites.
Complimentary for children (maximum 2 children per couple) are only valid, when joining parents during their meals (at one of the Hotels restaurants).
Complimentary meals for children are not applicable to meals taken at the Kangaroo Mac and/or room service.
Free entrance for the Kangaroo Club is only valid for children from 3 to 12 years of age. Children from 6 months to 2 years of age, daily entrance fee of € 47 will apply (rate includes lunch and afternoon snack, water, fruit juice, diapers, rash lotion and wet wipes).

EXTRA BED POLICY
Extra beds and cots are available, on request, at no cost. Baby cots are applicable to infants up to the age of 2.
Extra bed policy is only applicable to children up to the age of 12. Adults cannot be accommodated in extra beds.

OVERBOOKINGS
In the event or unforeseen circumstance of the hotel being overbooked or is unable to hold rooms consistent with this room hold policy, hotel will attempt to accommodate guests, at its expense, at a comparable hotel in the area for the oversold night(s).
